Over the process of wire wrapping the crystals, I got sick from sinusitis, and also was trying to juggle some research at the same time. Much of this process didn't get video documented, but I will still try to video edit the footage I got.
See that broken handle on the vintage pewter pot? The main reason no one wanted it, and cast it off as "a piece of junk" was the sole reason why I wanted it. (It also has a big dent in it. But, to me, it shall be a figurative "Persian Flaw".) Well, that broken handle is what will make this a major piece of whimsical art!

In my original design concept I only wanted a small crystal to be wire wrapped to the handle, and then reinforced. But, I ended up having 3 crystals thanks to Jet International due to a mistake which changed to generosity & kindness.
So, It evolved into 3 crystals... but, when I as at Michael's Craft Store I saw some drilled crystal point beads, and that also became part of the mix.

After I was done with the wire wrapping, I had to do some spray paint retouch-ups, and I had to cover the crystals with plastic wrap in layers. Then, after that I had to spray it with layers of shellac.
I couldn't do it while it was raining, nor while it was ultra humid, because it would mess up the process. And, I was also sick, so I had to be careful as to not harm myself.
Once the paint and the shellac were all set, I could move onto the LED lights, but I had to wait until the following day to be completely sure the layers of paint and shellac were totally set.
I also put the knob back on.
Oh, and by the way: It's rather heavy from all the wire.
Yes, I realize the process of my creating this was practically epic, like the Odyssey...
I finally lugged this guy back to Massachusetts, and when the weather wasn't raining, I started spraying the pewter pot with the silver paint my brother bought me. It took several coats, but also after doing the wire wrapping, I still had to touch-up the paint again, and THEN shellac it, to seal it on.

Durring the last few days I visited my father in PA, they had the AC o full blast, so I got a sinusitis. I still worked on this while I as sick, plus I also got into some heavy research stuff at the same time, and sat through many videos, calls, and lectures. I did try to video document this process on video, but once I got very sick, I lost a lot of energy, and didn't document it entirely.
This project has taken so long to complete. But, I've finally finished it.
I'm breaking up the next few parts into different segments. This part is the 2nd attempt at drilling.
The first attempt at drilling, last year, had me hunched over on the concrete outside not only hurting myself in my fingers, but also hurting my back very badly which caused problems for Fall Semester 2016 at UMASS Boston.
My father told me I could brig it and drill it at his new house in PA. So I did.
I spent more than half a day working on it, in the basement, including during a storm, and a tornado that just passed by a few miles away. .
So, the main part of being a Gypset (or Gypsetter) is being an artist. they other part is wandering about, traveling, and dreaming...
Well, I've had a major mix of that happening in my life. Ever since I'd started applying the principles of Dao De Jing (Tao Te Ching) to my life since last year, I've been incredibly busy! I've been heavily into film-making including animation and motion graphics. You can actually see this applied in some of my films: Light Journal Film, and Smattering Thoughts Also Flow. Dao De Jing predates physics & psychology as a field of study and doesn't require a theology.
I'm still technically living within the poor class or poverty in the USA, but a number of circumstances brought me very rewarding experiences. Many of my wishes came true.

I had been wanting a French Press (coffee maker) for a few years. Well, my spouse was graduating this year from UMASS Boston with a BA in Art from the College of Liberal Arts. So, I helped him to get a large grant scholarship to travel to Japan, and YES he got it. Even tho' it was for him, I largely benefited from it myself. No I did not go to Japan with him because my daughter was still in school graduating from Middle School. But, I ended up with some cash and bought a French Press at Marshall's which is down the street from me.

Also, right before Mr. Wang left for Japan, an older gentleman crashed into our minivan and totaled it the day before he left for Japan. This had me driving rentals, and eventually we got a new car, and I got chiropractic care paid for due to injury.

Also, my father wanted to spend time with myself and my daughter, and he & my brother got us Amtrack tickets, and we came down to Philadelphia where my father now lives with my brother. My father, brother, and my brother's girl friend were so incredibly generous to us, it's mind blowing! I picked beans in the garden, went swimming, went shopping, and worked on drilling my boho pewter pot project.

My father & brother were so generous to us, that I had a strange experience of after being asked to get whatever I wanted when we were at the Shore and thinking I didn't actually want anything, and that I was just happy to spend time with my family.
Do you want this? Do you want to do that?
Actually, I found I didn't... After so long of being so poor, and being without, and being thrust into so much generosity, I just found I didn't want anything other than being with the people I loved.
My dad was so loving, that I found myself often being grateful, and hugging my dad all the time. It was so different than being a kid in the 1980s and being at the Shore and my dad not wanting to let us play in the arcades and win Batman stuff. This time, he wanted to pay for ANYTHING, and I kind of didn't care about spending money, just hanging out with him and everyone else.
I also went out and shot stock footage/B-Roll video with my brother around Greater Philadelphia.
My life is way different than it was a few years ago.
